Our people make our club and create the community we are so proud of. Without the contributions, loyalty and support from our fantastic coaches, team members, parents and volunteers we would not be the club we are today.
Sharron Lewis-Burke joined the club in 2003 as player/coach, becoming head-coach when she retired from playing in 2009.
With over 25 years of playing and coaching experience Sharron instils confidence, motivation and inspires her athletes to be the best that they can be — on and off the court. Having been a successful Surrey County 100m sprint athlete in her youth she knows what it takes to succeed in the world of professional sport.
Sharron regularly dedicates 20+ hours per week to running the club — this in addition to her full-time job as a netball coach, as well as being a wife and mother of four.
Over the years she has had some amazing experiences through netball, all across the UK, which she believes she would never have done if it wasn’t for the sport.
Her love for the sport enticed her into coaching and she is proud to part of an amazing coaching team, watching the girls grow and the reward she gets from giving back is second to none.
As Charmaine says “Crystal Palace has been a way of life, its in my blood – “Red and Blue!”
At CPNC, Michelle is in the 1st Team and plays in defence. She supports “Team D” on and off court alongside the team captain. Michelle has been part of the Junior Coaching Team since April 2016, and enjoys being part of the Club’s committee.
